Hair grows in three cycles:

Catagen (Transition Phase): Growth slows, and the follicle shrinks. The hair detaches from the blood supply but remains in place for a short time.
Telogen (Resting Phase): Hair does not grow but remains in the follicle until it naturally sheds, making it less responsive to laser treatment.
